We’ve got great news for you!
After touring on a bunch of surf film festivals a bit everywhere in Europe, as well as in Florida, for the last year, we’re thrilled to release our short film A14 out on the Internet for everybody to see.
It’s a short film about surfing in Paris, named after our least favorite highway, and we hope that you will enjoy it more than the Beaujolais Nouveau that you’ll stuff yourself with tonight.
The A14 is the fastest highway to leave Paris and head for the ocean. It’s also one of the most expensive in France. 21km to the beach, cold water and waves.
The idea was to make a surf film that talked about surfing without showing surfing, describe what life is like as a surfer when you’re stuck over 200km from the ocean.
We would like to create something that might be a little pretentious but that wouldn’t be the same as all those boring surf films where you see a succession of air reverses on perfect waves, something beautiful to see and hear.
We’re happy with this project to show our daily lives here in Paris and continue to be the most hated surfers in France.
